Lyrics: | Don't you know that you're my girl, and I'll love you 'til my dying day: so sleep. |
Comments: | This was written upon request for Brandon Youngblood and his newly forming quartet! A full piece will follow, also for them! (Work will be done to assure that the piece, and the tag, are contestable, of course retaining as much of my... flavor?... as possible. haha) Content: Brandon was looking for something akin to a Rascal Flatts tune he sent me (which I enjoyed thoroughly), and so I came up with this. A man is giving comfort to his love, who is haunted by fears or nightmares (specifics come later!), and he's lulling her to sleep with the sound of his voice, a melody on his love for her, a harmony of the intimacy of their souls. Everyone just wants someone to hold, don't they? Brandon inquired as to interest in hiring me, and I offered to write a tag as a preliminary to a piece. He dug it! (WOO HOO!) I hope you all enjoy this new tag. |
