| Comments: | Tenor melody. This may be sung in G Major, just a whole step down and the lead takes the melody an octave down from where the tenor sings the melody. The tenor takes what then would be the highest part. This is the original tag. It has since been improved to the current "tenor melody, key of A" version. -Matt Hart P.S. The bass can make it "dirty" by sliding down a perfect 5th from D Down to G on the penultimate chord, just the bass moves on the word "my."
