Comments: | This is from Ben Maloney's arrangement of the old 1910 cockney music hall song 'Henry VIII, I am', written by Murray & Weston (the signature song of music hall star, Harry Champion). It was revived in the 50s by Joe Brown, and made famous in 1965 by the Rock'n'Roll band 'Herman's Hermits', where it became the fastest selling song in history. |
