| Comments: | This transcription is based on the recording found on the Mark IV Masterworks album. In that recording, the bass part for the last chord in measure 7 sounds clearly like an "E" . While this creates pleasant contrary motion with the upper voices, it leads to a much less consonant chord. After much deliberation, I decided to include both the more consonant version and documentation of the change. Dotted slurs, breath marks, and fermatas indicate the original phrasing for measures 6-8. |
